Foodnet Meals on Wheels is excited to announce that we will hold our 10th Annual Mac ‘n Cheese Bowl on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at the Ithaca Farmers Market, from 4:30pm-7:00pm. The Bowl is Foodnet’s signature fundraising event and it furthers our mission to provide food and nutritional services to vulnerable older adults and others who are unable to cook or shop for themselves in Tompkins County.  

In 2022, Foodnet reviewed past events and partnered with the Ithaca Farmers Market to provide a safe outdoor space during Covid-19. Changing the location contributed to increased community engagement and attendees including, over 1,200 individuals of all ages. We appreciate the community’s support of our event and are thrilled to be hosted by the Ithaca Farmers Market again for the 2023 “bowl”.

Foodnet Meals on Wheels provides nearly 700 daily meals to more than 480 older adults and others in need throughout Tompkins County. Our services offer a dependable pathway to food security to ensure that our neighbors live without hunger and isolation. In addition, Foodnet drivers provide safety checks, nutritious meals, and warm smiles to our clients daily. We will continuously work to support seniors accessing healthy food and living independently.
