Fresh flowers - bouquets and stems.
4 years ago we jumped at the opportunity to move into an old farmhouse with lots of acreage. With it came a nice sized garden overgrown but previously cultivated. Growing up in a home with a horticulturist father and flower-loving mother, it only made sense to revive this garden with gorgeous dahlias. I started small with dahlias and zinnias but have expanded to lisiaianthus, gladiolas, snapdragons, dara, and aramanth. My garden pushed me into retirement where I can throw my whole self into growing beauty. I most especially love the reaction I see when people stop to observe my garden or when I arrive at a gathering with buckets of flowers. I'm excited about being able. to have my little piece of heaven expand year by year in the Ithaca/Trumansburg region.
